BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:30 A.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has been increasing their strikes against the jihadist rebels in northeastern Latakia, targeting a number of militant sites, including the mountaintop town of Kabani.

While their ground offensive has been halted, the Syrian Army has continued to apply pressure on the jihadist groups like the Turkestan Islamic Party (TIP) and Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham through airstrikes and heavy missile attacks.

The Syrian Army has also conducted combing operations around the Zuwayqat, Turkmen, and Al-Akrad mountains in a bid to prevent the foreign jihadist groups like TIP to infiltrate their lines.

In a new video released by the Sputnik News Agency, the Syrian Army can be seen taking on the foreign jihadists in northeastern Latakia.
