The Islamic State Launches 2 Big Attacks Against the Syrian Arab Army in Deir Ezzor

BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:40 P.M.) – The Islamic State has launched two big attacks against the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) in the Deir Ezzor countryside in the last 24 hours.
According to a report from the National Defense Forces (NDF), the Islamic State first attacked the Syrian military near the border city of Albukamal, causing a number of casualties before they retreated to an unknown location.
Following this attack on Albukamal, the Islamic State launched a heavy attack on the Syrian Arab Army’s positions in the desert region west of Al-Mayadeen city.
The Syrian Army and National Defense Forces would suffer several casualties as a result of this Islamic State.
In the last five days, the Islamic State has launched two big attacks against the Syrian military troops near the city of Al-Mayadeen.
