BEIRUT, LEBANON (7:45 P.M.) – The Syrian military has denied reports that claimed the U.S. Air Force bombed a government fuel convoy along the Iraqi border last night.
Speaking to Al-Masdar from eastern Syria, a source from the Syrian military said any reports claiming the U.S. or Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) attacked their troops in Deir Ezzor or anywhere else in Syria are false.
The source specifically denied the claims that the U.S. destroyed 32 oil tankers that were crossing into Syria from the Iraqi border city of Al-Qa’im.
He would add that most of these claims are coming from opposition media and not from the Syrian military or Syrian Democratic Forces.
