BEIRUT, LEBANON (1:00 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) shot down an enemy drone that was flying over their positions in the northern countryside of the Latakia Governorate this afternoon.

According to the military communique from the Latakia Governorate, the Syrian Arab Army units in the Kurdish Mountains (var. Jabal Al-Akrad) shot down a drone belonging to the nearby jihadist forces after it was spotted flying over their positions.

The military communique said the drone was seen flying towards their positions from the town of Kabbani, which is controlled by the jihadist rebels of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham.

The report would add that the jihadist drone was preparing to bomb their positions south of Kabbani.
