BEIRUT, LEBANON (4:00 P.M.) – The Russian Air Force continued their bombing campaign of the Idlib Governorate this week, targeting several areas under the control of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham.

Led by their Sukhoi jets, the Russian Air Force reportedly struck several areas in western and southern Idlib, including the towns of Kafr Nabl, Khan Sheikhoun, and Hass.

At the same time, the Syrian Arab Air Force (SyAAF) also joined in on the attacks, bombing a Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham rocket launching point near the front-lines in southern Idlib.

Since the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) captured the Huwayz area in southwest Idlib, there has been no movement by the military to advance further into the Jabal Al-Zawiya region.

The Syrian Army is likely going to wait a few days before they make any push as they seek to secure the area.
