BEIRUT, LEBANON (2:20 P.M.) – The Russian Air Force carried out an imperative airstrike on a jihadist convoy that was traveling through the southwestern countryside of the Idlib Governorate on Thursday.

According to a military source in Hama, the Russian Air Force tracked a military convoy belonging to Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham as it was traveling through the southwestern countryside of the Idlib Governorate.

Once the convoy reportedly reached the key town of Khan Sheikhoun, the Russian Air Force wiped out the entire jihadist convoy with a powerful airstrike.

In addition to the airstrike on the jihadist convoy, the Russian and Syrian air forces also heavily targeted several areas under the control of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham and Jaysh Al-Izza.
