Russia begins production of new Iskander-M missile system

The Machine-Building Design Bureau in Kolomna has begun serial production of the 11th brigade set of the tactical missile system Iskander-M, Deputy Defense Minister Alexei Krivoruchko said on Friday.

“The Kolomna Machine-Building Design Bureau in cooperation with subcontractors has begun the serial production of the 11th brigade set of the tactical missile system Iskander,” Krivoruchko said.

“The degree of the system’s technical readiness is above 50%,” he added.
