Qatar’s Hamad International Was Named The Best Airport In The World

Qatar’s Hamad International was named the best airport in the world , according to AirHelp.

It was followed by Tokyo Haneda International (2) and Athens International (3) in the air passenger rights company’s annual rankings.

Looking at 133 airports all over the world, AirHelp used a combination of flight data and customer input, ranking each airport based on timeliness (60%), quality of service (20%) and availability of food and shops (20%) for travelers.

In terms of timeliness, the top three airports in the world are Brussels South Charleroi, Sheremetyevo Moscow International and Tokyo Haneda International. Qatar’s Hamad International ranks 7th when just looking at on time performance.
