Lebanon Municipality Launches a Campaign to Ban Plastic Bags

The Beit Mery municipality in Lebanon recently launched a campaign to reduce the use of plastic bags in shops and supermarkets. These bags, deemed detrimental to the environment, are being replaced with new eco-friendly tote bags bearing the municipal logo.
