Kibsons to Deliver 200 New Jobs With New Dubai Head Office

Online fruit, vegetable, dairy and meat distributor Kibsons has expanded into a new 130,000 square foot head office and cold storage warehouse in Dubai.

Based in Dubai Fruit and Vegetable Market, the new site will see the company grow from its current 2,500 home delivery orders per day, to up to 10,000. It will triple distribution capacity, which currently stands at more than 250,000 kilograms of fresh produce daily and it will also triple its meat processing capabilities.

While the new head office is expected to create more than 200 new jobs.

Halima Jumani, head of operations and part of the founding family, said: “In building our custom-made head office, we have allowed ourselves to incorporate every element necessary for future proofing and developing our business for the next ten years.”

New cold chain management technology, set to international standards, includes an avocado and banana ripening facility.

“We have been able to focus on the cold chain technology which is necessary to maintain both quality and freshness within the fresh produce industry. This is a giant step in our journey,” added Jumani.

The Kibsons journey also includes plans to expand into other parts of the region within two years.

Kibsons has been family-owned and operated since 1982.
