Jet2.com will become the first UK airline to serve Nando’s food onboard when it starts selling two snack boxes this summer.
Fliers loathe to miss out on their peri-peri fix at 35,000ft can tuck into a Nando’s Box, which couples peri-peri drizzled hummus with salted pitta chips.
The other “flight bites” option is Nando’s Half-popped Corn, somewhere between popcorn and crunchy corn.
Anyone flying from today (13 May) can pick up the new options, with the box priced at £4 and the corn £1.50 a bag.
Selected boxes will also contain a voucher for a free Nando’s meal inside.

“The addition of these two fantastic snacking options give our customers even more great choice than ever, and mean that we are the first UK airline to offer Nando’s products on our inflight menu,” said Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays.
“We have already made a number of exciting changes to our inflight menu this year, and we are sure this brand new menu will delight customers even more.”
Jet.com introduced its first ever vegan meal earlier this year, putting a pasta Arrabbiata on the menu. It has since added a vegan and gluten free ‘Gnaw’ chocolate bar; the Nando’s corn is vegan too.
The airline won five awards in this year’s TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice awards, including the best-rated airline in Europe. It was also named ninth best airline in the world.
