Houthi forces launch first attack with new ballistic missile, 40+ Saudi Coalition fighters killed

BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:45 P.M.) – The Houthi Forces launched their first attack with their new Badr-F ballistic missile on Saturday, targeting a Saudi military camp along the Yemeni border.

According to the official media wing of the Houthi forces, the Badr-F missile scored a direct hit on the Al-Istiqbal Camp in the Tawal area on Saturday.

The Houthi forces alleged that their ballistic missile attack managed to kill at least nine Saudi military officers and more than 40 Coalition fighters.

The Yemeni group’s attack on Saturday is the deadliest missile strike against the Saudi Coalition forces this year.

Last week, the Houthi forces unveiled their new Badr-F missile, which was an upgrade from their previous Badr-P1.

Unlike the Badr-P1, the new Badr-F can travel up to 160km from its launching point, which is 30km farther than its predecessor.

Despite the claims that Iran supplied these projectiles to the Houthi forces, these ballistic missiles are actually manufactured by Yemeni scientists and military experts.

The Houthi forces often release promotional videos of their new domestically-made weapons to showcase their latest military technology and to send messages to their enemies.
